In April 2020, the University of Portsmouth will host the second Advanced Biobased Composites for Engineering Applications Conference and the 5th Steering Committee Meeting of the EU Interreg funded project, FLOWER: Flax composites, LOW weight, End of life and Recycling.

The Fatigue 2020 conference will bring the international fatigue and durability community together to share knowledge and understand the challenges in using sophisticated engineering simulation and modelling tools to complement sound test programmes and develop reliable and cost effective products for modern usage.
FEMS Junior EUROMAT conferences are organised every two even years, providing young materials scientists with the opportunity to contribute both scientifically and to the organisation and structure of their conference in functions such as session chairperson or workshop coordinator.
VHCF8 will provide a worldwide platform for scientific communication, discussion, and activities for all those interested in both fundamental aspects and practical applications. The conference will comprise of lectures by outstanding international scientists, contributed oral presentations, and posters. Suggestions for special topics are welcome. Exhibitions for testing and analyses related to VHCF researches will also be offered.
