Symposium
ISFSWP 2022 – Joint International Symposium on Friction Stir Welding and Processing
Scope & Topics
Friction Stir Welding (FSW) has been one of the most active research and development technology within the wide range of welding technologies. As a result of this research activity many applications have been introduced mainly in the manufacturing of lightweight structures for transport applications, although many other industrial applications have been developed.
This event will represent an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge about different aspects of the technology as well as to hold interesting discussions with FSW experts. Presentations concerning all aspects of FSW and processing are welcome including fundamental studies, experimental testing, numerical modelling or application development.
Along with the networking opportunities, the event will also include presentations, technical visits and exhibitions.
The current conference aims to present the state of art together with the latest advances of Friction Stir Welding and Processing:
- New Developments in Processes and Control
- High Temperature Materials
- Fundamentals and Modelling
- Metallurgical Characteristics
- Mechanical Properties
- Dissimilar Materials Joining
- Friction Stir Spot Welding
- Tools and Process Industrialization
- Industrial Applications
- Friction Stir Processing
Technical Exhibition
A technical exhibition will be run in parallel with oral presentations and will be located in the hall outside the conference room. The exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their products, services and technologies.
