TOPIC AT A GLANCE:

Low temperature processing approaches are particularly valuable for elaborating advanced materials, especially regarding metastable compounds or composite/hybrid materials, while retaining the appealing characteristics of their precursors. Recent developments have been made in the setup of advanced methodologies and in the understanding of underlying mechanisms. In this view, a large variety of strategies are being developed, including synthesis routes, surface modifications and treatments, consolidation methods and 3D shaping.

OVERVIEW OF THE EVENT:

This SF2M-SO Annual Meeting co-organized with the ANR project Pre-Cold’it envisions to provide a forum of discussion regarding these aspects, among academic researchers, industrials and technology end-users.

In particular, a large participation of PhD students and young researchers is expected in both oral and poster forms, and best presentations will be awarded.
