Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Under the sponsorship of the Hong Kong Institute for Advanced Study at the City University of Hong Kong, I recently delivered a series of four (1 to 1.5 hour lectures) tutorial lectures on “Grain Boundary Structure and Dynamics”.

The lectures are meant to be a non-mathematical introduction to the current state of our understanding of the topic.  It is designed for new graduate students, post-docs, researchers entering the field or for those on the periphery who want an update of where we are now.
