FEMS Junior EUROMAT conferences are organised on even years, giving young materials scientists the opportunity to contribute scientifically to the organisation and structure of their conference in functions such as session chairperson or workshop co-ordinator.

The FEMS Junior EUROMAT conference is the place to be for young students willing to have a direct access to one of the largest community of international experts of materials science and technology.

Each conference is based on a scientific programme sub-structured into Thematic Sessions (Areas) covering all the areas defined in the conference series, with each Symposium normally including several oral sessions, plus a number of posters.
