Ti-2023 – World Titanium Conference 2023
The 13 technical areas remain largely consistent with previous conferences: however, the local organising committee are very keen to invite the international titanium community to submit papers in the new topic areas of Resource and Energy Efficiency and Materials 4.0. It is imperative that we work together as an international titanium community to share ideas to accelerate progress in the reuse and recycling of titanium alloys, and importantly, play our part to limit climate change for future generations.
The Ti-2023 conference programme will cover the following technical areas with contributions from both academia and industry:
- Extraction, Casting & Powder Production
- Resource and Energy Efficiency; Recycling; Life-Cycle Analysis
- Additive Manufacturing & Repair Technology
- Near-Net Shaping and Powder Consolidation
- Thermomechanical Processing
- Forming, Machining and Joining
- Composition – Microstructure – Property Relationships
- Materials 4.0: Multiscale Modelling
- Intermetallics and MMCs
- Environmental Behaviour
- Aerospace Applications
- Biomedical and Healthcare Applications
- Marine, Offshore, Automotive & Other Applications
