Scope

A remarkable shift towards renewable materials has emerged in the dynamic landscape of climate change and environmental imperatives, signaling a departure from fossil fuels to bio-based alternatives. Today, we focus on nurturing a circular bioeconomy to advance high performance, recyclable, and biodegradable biobased materials.

For this purpose, a Spring School will be opened (13–14 May 2025 at Sfax, Tunisia) upon the 5^th International Euromagh Conference. National and international lecturers from European and African countries will give interdisciplinary and rich mini-courses dealing with cutting edge knowledges from extracting natural fibers to developing biopolymers, new products and formulating new bio-based composites.
