POSTPONED 10-15 JULY 2022

We are pleased to announce that the 7th World Tribology Congress (WTC 2021) will be held in Lyon, France, on September 5-10, 2021, following previous WTC events in London (1997), Vienna (2001), Washington DC (2005), Kyoto (2009), Torino (2013) and Beijing (2017). WTC 2021 aims to highlight recent important progress in all aspects of Tribology, strengthen the links between academy and industry, provide a unique opportunity for discussion concerning the latest developments in Tribology and to promote international collaborations and exchanges.
The Congress will consist of scientific sessions, plenary, keynote and invited talks on topics at the cutting edge of the various Tribology disciplines, a wide exhibition and various events, scientific and nonscientific, some of them dedicated to young tribologists.

Partner Event – 48th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology

The Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology has a half century tradition of gathering scientists from around the world to address current tribological challenges. For the 48th edition, the organisers would like to highlight new developments of the original topics addressed during the previous meetings. Invited speakers will open the sessions followed by regular presentations submitted under the theme « 48th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology » and accepted by the scientific committee.
