A remarkable shift towards renewable materials has emerged in the dynamic landscape of climate change and environmental imperatives, signaling a departure from fossil fuels to bio-based alternatives. Today, we focus on nurturing a circular bioeconomy to advance high-performance, recyclable, and biodegradable biobased materials.
The 5th International EuroMagh Conference (15–17 May 2025 at Djerba, Tunisia), spanning across three continents-North America, Europe, and Africa-serves as a Nexus for interdisciplinary connections among biology, engineering, modeling, manufacturing, and materials science.
This emphasis on diverse fields underscores the importance of each participant’s contribution to the advancement of high-performance, recyclable, and biodegradable biobased materials. From extracting natural fibers to developing biopolymers and formulating biobased composites, this event promises a deep dive into cutting-edge research and industrial applications.
The conference offers the option for attendees to present their communications remotely via an online session.
Spring School (13–14 May 2025 at Sfax, Tunisia) (Biobased materials for circular economy) : A thematic school wich aims at getting together doctoral and post-doctoral students around an emergent North American, European and African-serves thematic. lt is also opened to the entire academic community of chemical engeneering biopolymers and biobased engineering materials.
