ESAFORM is an association with the mission to stimulate applied and fundamental research in the field of material forming. Its annual conference, the International ESAFORM Conference on Material Forming, is used to achieve one of the main goals of ESAFORM: to spread scientific and technological information related to material forming within academia and industry.

The intention of this event is to continue the exchange of knowledge on thermo-mechanical fatigue. It provides a forum to present and discuss all recent developments in the field of thermo-mechanical fatigue.

L’Association Calcul des Structures et Modélisation (CSMA) fédère la communauté française du calcul des structures et organise tous les deux ans depuis 1993 sur la presqu’île de Giens, dans le Var, le colloque national en calcul des structures. Ce colloque rassemble chercheurs, théoriciens, numériciens, développeurs de logiciels et industriels pour faire l'état de l'art sur les grands axes et sur les thèmes émergents du domaine.

Organisé par la Société marocaine des matériaux, de la mécanique et de l'énergie en collaboration avec l'UIR, MME-2024 offrira une occasion privilégiée d'explorer les dernières avancées et perspectives d'avenir dans les domaines de l'ingénierie des matériaux, de la mécanique et de l'énergie. Cette conférence multidisciplinaire rassemblera des chercheurs, des experts et des praticiens passionnés, offrant une plateforme pour établir des liens, échanger des idées et favoriser la collaboration.

Following the tradition of CMIS symposia, the objective is to bring together researchers from the mathematical and engineering communities working on different aspects of contact mechanics using theoretical experimental and numerical approaches. In order to encourage fruitful exchanges between all participants, no parallel sessions will be scheduled. All presentations will be made in plenary presentation.

The conference is expected to attract 2,000 delegates and over 200 exhibitors’ from all over the world to showcase the best of the latest innovations and technologies.

Ces journées sont l'occasion d’une part de faire un point annuel sur les avancées scientifiques dans les domaines de l’expérimentation, de la mesure, de la modélisation et de la simulation numérique aux grandes vitesses, et d’autre part de développer et/ou renforcer des collaborations dans le cadre du montage de projets nationaux et internationaux.

The Engineering Mechanics Institute Conference and Probabilistic Mechanics & Reliability Conference (EMI/PMC 2024) will provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to showcase their recent developments in the fundamentals and applications of engineering mechanics.

The European Mechanics of Materials Conferences (EMMC) is a series of biyearly meetings organized under the auspices of the European Mechanics Society, Euromech, that has taken place during the last 25 years. The conference will be a meeting point of researchers with common interests in mechanics of materials from different perspectives including mechanical engineering, physics, biomechanics, applied mathematics, chemistry, etc. Contributions will cover research at different length scales including model development and validation, advanced experimental techniques and computational methods for mechanics of materials.

The biennial European Congress ECCOMAS provides a rendezvous for scientists and engineers from within Europe and around the globe. The main objective of these congresses is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of state-of-the-art developments in scientific computing applied to engineering sciences. Equal emphasis is given to basic methodologies, scientific development and industrial applications.

ECRS is a well-established conference series that focuses on residual stresses in structural and functional materials. The goal of this conference, organized by the German Association for Materials Research and Testing (DVM), is to provide a platform to the international community for exchanging ideas and information about recent developments, new scientific approaches and industrial applications regarding variable amplitude fatigue of materials, components and structures. Started in 2002, the 2024 conference will be the fifth in a row and will continue to provide excellent opportunities for researchers and industrial representatives to discuss recent achievements and results of research studies, new approaches and state-of-the-art processes in different industries.

Additive 2024 is a cutting-edge forum representing the progress in materials science related to metal additive manufacturing. La 3ème Conférence des Eco-Matériaux en Afrique - CEMA’2024 s’inscrit dans un souci de fédérer tous les acteurs œuvrant pour la recherche et le développement dans le domaine de la valorisation des éco-matériaux locaux : Fibres et particules végétales, animales et minérales – Bois - Terre - Pierre, etc. La problématique du recyclage et de valorisation des sous-produits et des déchets, d’éco-conception et d’élaboration d’éco-produits constitue un axe essentiel de cette conférence.

Le thème de la solidification des alliages métalliques allie différentes problématiques autant liées à la thermodynamique, la thermique ou la mécanique des matériaux, montrant son caractère interdisciplinaire. The Fatigue 2024 conference will bring the international fatigue and durability community together to share knowledge and understand the challenges in using sophisticated engineering simulation, characterisation and modelling tools to complement sound test programmes and develop reliable and cost effective products for modern usage.

The 9th International Conference on Very High Cycle Fatigue is intended to provide a forum for the discussion of relevant scientific and technical developments in the field of fatigue and fracture of materials. The scientific program is divided into thematic sessions for the different research areas and a series of plenary lectures by internationally renowned researchers.

Following the tradition of ICOTOM conferences, ICOTOM 20 will be a forum on crystallographic textures of materials and microstructures. Texture controls the anisotropic properties of materials, and microstructure determines material performance.

ICTAM has been held every four years since its establishment in 1924 and is known as the Olympics of mechanics, the core field of engineering. The conference is the world's most prestigious conference, with as many as 5,000 participants, and is systematically operated by the international organization IUTAM. ICTAM 2024 invites you to submit an extended abstract for the upcoming world conference, August 25-30, 2024 in Daegu, Republic of Korea. XIII WRTCS will be held as a joint event with 25 YUCOMAT. It includes the participation of renowned Plenary speakers, Oral presentations, Poster sessions and Symposia related to contemporary programs in the field of sintering as well as an attractive social and cultural program.

The symposium will explore all the materials science aspects associated with additive manufacturing (AM) of metals and composites containing metallic phases. Encompassing experimental, theoretical, and computational research, this symposium will dive into various facets such as feedstock creation, characterization, degradation during AM processing, in-process alloying, in situ characterization of microstructure evolution and material behavior changes, post-processing techniques, and resultant structural and/or functional properties. We encourage contributions focusing on optimizing existing alloys for AM processes and the innovative design of tailor-made alloys.

SIMS-24 offrira un forum aux collègues du milieu universitaire et de l’industrie, du monde entier, pour échanger résultats et nouvelles idées sur le SIMS et les techniques connexes. En collaboration avec le Pôle Européen de la Céramique, l’antenne A3TS Limousin organise ses Journées Revêtements par Voie Sèche – science, innovation et industrie, les 5 et 6 décembre 2024 à Limoges afin de réunir les experts industriels et académiques des traitements de surface par voie sèche. Ces journées ont pour objectif de couvrir des sujets de bas TRL à la fois sur les dépôts réalisés par projection thermique ainsi que sur les couches minces.
