Cold rolling process optimization for electrical steel production

In the first part, the intern will have to understand the basics of cold rolling of steel. In a second step, the intern will provide support on electical steel rolling process optimization developing knowledge and model on the topic.

The detailed mission is :

• Review of technical documents on steel manufacturing and cold rolling process
• Bibliography analysis on electrical steel rolling process and optimization
• Enhance the rolling lab tool for the development of electrical steel rolling
• Create tolls for better management and preparation of trials on rolling pilot device (cooling, lubrication…)
