Assistant Professor position in Experimental Mechanics

The Department of Mechanics at École Polytechnique invites applications for a part time faculty position  at the Assistant Professor level in solids mechanics.

PhD holders, candidates must have demonstrated strong research and teaching capabilities. They must be able to contribute to the teaching of the Department of Mechanics at all levels of training (Bachelor’s, Ingénieur polytechnicien program and Master’s) and must be integrated into the teaching teams of experimental mechanics. Their ability to contribute to project-based teaching and to strengthen the links between teaching, research and applications will be an important element.
